Healthwork Yoga Teachers and Massage Therapists
When teaching a yoga class, my intention is to preserve the philosophy of yoga as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga offer a timeless pathway that guides us toward balance, awareness, inner peace, and spiritual growth. This ancient wisdom has supported humanity for thousands of years and continues to offer profound healing and transformation in modern life.
It is my intention to teach yoga in a way that brings these teachings into everyday living, not only through physical movement, but through mindfulness, breath awareness, self-study, compassion, and inner connection. Yoga is far more than physical exercise; it is a holistic practice that nurtures the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
In my classes, students are encouraged to move with awareness, honor their individual journey, and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way. Through the practice of yoga, we cultivate strength, flexibility, balance, peace of mind, emotional well-being, and spiritual awareness. My hope is that each student leaves class feeling grounded, renewed, empowered, and more connected to their authentic self.
My greatest joy as a teacher is witnessing students discover their own inner strength, healing, and light through the practice of yoga. I believe yoga has the power to transform lives gently and profoundly, both on and off the mat.
Yoga is a lifelong journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery, and I feel deeply honored to share this path with others.

My teaching style and practice are based on my personal experience and studies with teachers and gurus such as Sharon Gannon and David Life founders of Jivamukti yoga. Other teachers that have influenced my practice and teaching is Swami Sankarananda and Swami Vishnudevananda from the Sivananda Yoga, as well as Norman Allen and K. Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga Yoga, Rodney Yee and B. K. S. Iyengar, Iyengar yoga, and Dr. Vasant Lad, Ayurveda, plus many more.
My instruction encourages and teaches self-awareness through yoga breathing, yoga poses, and meditation. My teaching style is gentle enough for the yoga novice but is also challenging for the more experienced yoga practitioner. My primary focus is creating a balance and awareness of body, mind, and spirit for optimal health. All levels are welcome!
