Come and join us in a Friends and Couples Yoga Massage Workshop and spend a day at 💫Healthwork Yoga and Massage Therapy in Albuquerque, NM! 💫
This workshop is not just for couples—it’s for all human relationships!
We promise you will have a delightful time learning how to nurture and support the people you care about. In this fun and hands-on experience, you’ll learn simple, therapeutic massage techniques that blend Swedish massage, Thai Yoga Massage, and gentle yoga practices.
Bring your spouse, a friend, a family member, or even a neighbor, and discover practical ways to help someone feel better through the gift of touch. These easy-to-learn techniques are perfect for everyday use at home.
Make sure you sign up 14 days prior to the start date of the workshop to receive $25 off per person ($50 of per couple).
What You Will Learn
In this workshop, you will explore the importance of mindfulness—not only while giving massage to your partner or friend, but also in how you care for your own body and energy.
We will briefly cover proper body mechanics and posture, including:
How to position and carry your body while working on the floor
Simple, effective massage stances
Guided meditation to help you stay present and grounded
You will also learn:
Easy and effective Swedish massage strokes
Foundational Thai Yoga Massage movements
Gentle yoga poses and yogic breathing techniques
Important safety guidelines for both giver and receiver
What to Bring
We will be working on the floor, so please bring a thick mat to work on.
An egg crate mattress works perfectly as well.
